More than half of them have a hybrid model wherein both external agency and in-house team collaborate for social media. 95% said that Marketing, PR and Communications department handled social media, while one fourth % said Legal Department, 21% said HR department and 16% said IT department. However, most of them trusted external agencies for implementing social media campaigns and operations.


9.  Time

42% brands said that they require 3 weeks to ideate, strategize and execute a campaign while 32% said 2 weeks is enough. Only one said that they can deploy end to end campaign in a week.

10.  Mobile

3/4th of the respondents said that they created a blueprint of mobile applications and mobile based social media campaigns. Mobile centric campaigns which brands have initiated includes mobile apps, tablet only campaigns and responsive sites.
